Sept 17 2009

The Sun catches up with Saturn and is opposite Uranus, exact today, so likely more of the squeeze between Prometheus and Chronos, with the added upheaval of the Underworld (Pluto T-square). It may feel like the status quo has the upper hand as The Sun lights up Saturn/Chronos, but that will change as transits shift. The one and only Moon in Virgo will be sextile Mars exact at 4:21 pm PDT, so in spite of a possible feeling of the "melancholy genius" in the air, it should be a good day to get things done. Better for wrapping up loose ends rather than starting new projects, as Mercury is still in retrograde.

Today's Birthcard is the Seven of Clubs, a Saturn implementation of a Uranus core, with an Eight of Diamonds inside and a Jack of Spades outside. Bill Clinton, Ulysses Grant, John Tyler, Eugene McCarthy, Oscar Wilde, Whoopi Goldberg, Orville Wright, Igor Sikorsky, Keith O. Johnson, Alfred Kinsey, Louis Berlioz, Friedrich Nietzsche, Sam Walton, Samuel Morse, Fiorello La Guardia, Ernest Hemingway, Cassandra Peterson (Elvira), Robert Louis Stevenson, Ogden Nash, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Anne Bancroft, and Robin Williams all share this Birthcard.
