Now that Mercury has moved away from the T-square of the Saturn Uranus opposition, and is almost conjunct Pluto, Sun and Mars have moved to take the place T-squaring Saturn and Uranus. Different kind of edge likely for the next week or so. Penetrating mental inquiries. Other flavors likely are along the line of rebellion against authority figures; difficult choice between duty and self-gratification; pent-upness; upsets; accidents. If one is pro-active (yes, a cliche phrase, but fitting) these tendencies will less likely find a place with you. "Hard" aspects/transits like these "assist" us, or prompt us, give us opportunities (another overused cliche that still fits, cliche or not) to be aware, be current, be conscious, make choices, and paradoxically surrender and let go or allow...generally good strategies in any kind of weather. Shorter term, our friend the waxing Moon in Gemini is trine Venus this morning, exact at 6:11 am PST. The good feelings associated with this transit, cuddly warm fuzzies all around will offset some of the above mentioned stuff. By dusk, Moon will be in the orb of trine Chiron, so the mood may shift from relational to mothering, as in nurturing with a bit more of a one sided slant. In general, it would be good to be alert for the next week or so, slow down, take cautious and deliberate steps.
Today's Birthcard is the Seven of Clubs, a Saturn implementation of a Uranus core, with an Eight of Diamonds inside and a Jack of Spades outside. Bill Clinton, Whoopi Goldberg, Cassandra Peterson (Elvira), Ogden Nash, and Robin Williams all share this Birthcard.
We include familiar names associated with the Birthcards not for celebrity worship, nor for simplistic reductionism, far from it: if one looks deeply into the characters, similar Archetypal "flavors" do appear---each Card has it's flavor. Enjoy the smorgasbord.
