A time of mixed modes---any one of these can be experienced "along an axis", ie Moon in Leo will be conjunct the south node today, and although that can point towards emotional unsettledness, one could also find a calm centering by being just a bit more conscious and making that focus happen---along that axis, but in the preferred direction. Got that? The calm in the center of the storm, or "using" a less desired reference to launch away from it. Venus is sextile Jupiter, quite close for the next week, suggesting contented creativity. Mars is conjunct Neptune, lighting the Chiron/Neptune pair (see Mar 2nd post), so be aware of uncertainty, feelings of weakness, the classic inferiority complex. Again, any undesirable sensations or experiences, or memories triggered by either can be a launching point to growth and evolution. Also, Vesta sextile Sun will assist in grounding, some sort of anchoring in the midst of any uncertaintity or unsettledness.

Moon at home in Cancer was square Venus at 5:06 am PST, not a particularly hard square, but Venus is going retrograde today through Apr 16th, so you might want to hold off on that propsosal a bit, which may feel counterintuitive as Moon will be trine Sun exact at 6:15 am PST and sextile Vesta exact at 7:31 am PST. This trio trine/sextile of Moon/Sun/Vesta today points to feelings and expressions of harmony surrounding home, heart, and hearth.Moon is harmoniously emphasizing the Saturn/Uranus opposition which is a bit loose as Saturn retrogrades, but is being lit up by the Sun approaching opposite Saturn exact on Mar 8th and conjunct Uranus exact on Mar 12th. Moon will be sextile Saturn exact at 10:16 am PST and trine Uranus exact at 4:29 pm PST when she goes Moon Void of Course till the crack of Dawn tomorrow. The intellect or stubborn ego may be having a bit of trouble with making needed changes, but the feelings associated with that could be harmonious today. The cluster is spreading out, with Mercury past exact conjunct Neptune, so maybe communication, particularly non-verbal will be something you can talk about now. Mars is conjunct Chiron, likely time for childhood stuff, ie woundings to show up with zest. Our friend the Moon in Gemini will be busy today T square the Saturn/Uranus opposition, and sweeping trine the Mars/Chiron/Mercury/Neptune cluster. Moon will be square Saturn exact at 8:00 am PST, trine Mars exact at 1:34 pm PST, square Uranus exact at 1:49 pm PST, trine Chiron exact at 2:55 pm PST, trine Mercury exact at 5:17 pm PST, trine Neptune exact at 6:11 pm PST, then Moon Void of Course till 3 something tomorrow morning. We can expect a bit of an edge or hardness added to the Saturn/Uranus opposition which has been described in prior posts, and an emphasis with more ease to the Mars/Chiron/Mercury/Neptune cluster. The simplistic description of the cluster flavor is selling alternative health(!), as in an MLM person would offer you some "new" juice product opportunity "for your health". This did actually happen several times in the last couple of days to the author as a perfect example of this combo transit. Seems the Archetypes do have a sense of humor. Warped sometimes, but humorous none the less. In the evening during Moon VOC, it is usually good to chill, watch an arthouse movie.

See the last couple of posts for longer term transits. Generous, connected, good vibes from Jupiter; and a burst of energy from the Sun tonight if things are in sync, in place. The usual VOC advice: chill in the evening, go see a good arthouse flick. With Moon's harmonious emphasis of the Saturn/Uranus opposition there may be a somewhat easier experience of the continued breaking down of old, antiquated structures. Moon's hard emphasis of Mercury and Mars (the pushy salesman combo) joining the Chiron/Neptune conjunction could be an interesting mix: we will get plenty of chances to dial in the flavor of this mix over the next few years, as the faster moving Planets aspect/transit Chiron/Neptune. Interpretations of what the Chiron/Neptune conjunction means abound, this appears to be a good one. The opinion of this one is many are making it up as they go along---Chiron was discovered in 1977, so we don't have any prior experience with this conjunction. Neptune gets a bit of a bad rap over the diffusion and delusion facets of it's character; however another view is that the spiritual side of Neptune makes the western paradigm irrelevant, exposes it's inherent delusions for what they are, Castaneda's Don Juan style. The current best guess here (subject to evolution as experience unfolds) is something along the lines of alternative healing modalities becoming less alternative over the next few years.

After an evening of depth and play with Moon trine Pluto last night, Moon in Taurus will be sextile Sun exact at 3:54 pm PST and square Jupiter exact at 6:19 pm PST. Both point to generally good feelings, equanimity, positive self reflection, expansive and inclusive philosophy---the only downside would be a touch of grandiosity, well intentioned of course. However, with Mercury conjunct Mars exact today--- intense, pushy intellect is also a flavor in the ethers. The salesman. Be aware of the drive of the ego not quite listening, nor taking in it's surroundings. Overnight, Moon will be conjunct Vesta and square Juno; there may be feelings associated with home/hearth/heart being either at odds, or needing resolution. Juno represents the higher octave of Venus, long term commitments; and Vesta represents the home/family/hearth. As Vesta is square Juno for the next month or so, there will likely be arousal of such issues once a week as Moon sweeps past conjunct/square/opposite either of the two.
